Greg comes to The Colonial from Newport News Golf Club. Originally from Newport News, VA, Greg attended Christopher Newport University where he received a BA in Finance and played on the golf team.

Greg has been in the golf business for ten years. His first Head Golf Professional job was at Piankatank River Golf Club. He has held positions at Landsdowne Resort in Leesburg, VA and Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, VA, the former home of the PGA tour stop Micheloeb Championship. Greg's vast knowledge and experience will add to every guest's visit. He is proud to be a class A member of the PGA of America.

Eric is a 2003 graduate of the San Diego Golf Academy. Prior to attending the Golf Academy, Eric was an assistant golf professional at Two Rivers Country Club in Williamsburg, Virginia. His private club experience will enhance all guests as they play the Colonial. Eric looks forward to making your round of golf as pleasurable as possible.

Howie Barrow

In 1961, Howie Barrow was runner up in the New England Junior Open Small Fry Championship. In 2001, he won the Middle Atlantic PGA Senior Player's Championship.

Howie has spent his life in golf as a Head Professional, Director of Golf and General Manager - but teaching is his first love.

He began his professional career in Sebring, FL at the Harder Hall Golf School in 1977. By 1982, he was the Director of the Golf School and in 1986, he opened the Howie Barrow Golf School at Mission Inn Resort in Howey-In-The-Hills, FL. In 1989, he moved the program to the prestigious 54 hole Grenelope Resort in Grenelope, FL.

With a lifetime in golf and 26 years of professional teaching experience, Howie has developed a keen eye for analyzing golf swings. He applies a fundamental approach to teaching that has proven successful for thousands of students.

Mark Hendricks

Mark is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University. Mark has been in the food & beverage industry since the age of 15 with a variety of positions. His life journey has taken him across the country and around the globe.

Mark is assisted by Chef Tom Williams. Their goal is to provide culinary excellence at affordable prices.

Tom Dedrick

Tom's first job on a golf course was in 1994 at MacGregor Downs Country Club in Cary, NC. He worked there while earning his degree in Turf Management from NC State University. After graduation, he has spent time at Cape Fear Country Club in Wilmington, NC and Grandover Resort in Greensboro, NC where he assisted the Superintendent on the grow-in process. Most recently, Tom was the Assistant Superintendent at Williamsburg National Golf Club in Williamsburg, VA.

Tom is dedicated to providing high quality conditions and making The Colonial synonymous with excellence.
