Tournaments and Groups

The Colonials' professional staff, led by Head Professional Eric Gold, is thoroughly trained and experienced in tournament operations. Our training in golf group administration has established The Colonial as a favorite for group and tournament outings.

As part of our services, we will prepare cart signs, a rules sheet for the day, scorecards with players names, and record the scored on a professionally designed scoreboard. All players will be greeted at their car by a uniformed member of the staff who will place their clubs on an assigned cart. The player will be directed to the registration area for a list of preliminary events. Before the start of the event, announcements will be made to the group and once completed, will be led on the course to their starting hole.

Site inspections by contact personnel and meeting planners is encouraged. A member of our professional staff will be available to go through this package, walk you through the facility and answer any questions you might have. At your request, a proposal will be drafted that will include all pertinent information including rates for golf, food and beverage.
